Yami Project - June 2023
Yami is my first live2D model that I created, I think I was overly-ambitious with the model as it was a little too complex for my current skill level. There is some physics issue with the body such as wobbly and inconsistent deformation. I made a lot of mistakes and I had to redo and redraw a lot of things in clip studio. I really liked what I did with the mouth and ears, I felt like that worked very well movement-wise. Overall, I think I did a pretty good job as a first-time and self-taught rigger on Live2D.
Loutie Project - November 2023
Loutie is an adorable otter girl who was created for a friend as a gift. She is the second Live2D model that I have made. I think I overall made a very consistent model for her, and I definitely improved on the physics compared to the past model. In this model, there is now shadow on her face to create more detail and depth. Overall, I think I can definitely exaggerate her movements more as I think she is too rigid, and her default expression when stationary, is a little emotionless.
Hideyoshi Project - September 2024
Hideyoshi is a petite and cheeky Rockhopper Penguin model, originally I was going to add a hoodie, but I haven't added it on yet. For now, I just implemented the silly expression onto them as a hotkey. Overall, I really like this model, I added a lot more physics and details to the body this time around, and it is in general an upgrade in comparison to before in terms of fluidity. I think the main problem for this model is that there is too much deformation in the parameters, i think the warping may still need more polishing, but in conclusion, I am very happy with the way it turned out.
